Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Nomusa Dube cordially invites members of the media to join her as she unveils fresh report on the state of municipal finances and governance ahead of the elections next year.
The MEC will also address the media on the department’s new approach going forward, given the current state of municipal performance ahead of the upcoming local government elections.
As we end this year, it is important that we share with the public on our strategy to improve municipal performance before as well as beyond the local government elections. Literally, we want municipalities that are free of all the problems we have had to tackle in the past. A new approach is imperative.
