KwaZulu-Natal Human Settlements MEC NP Nkonyeni to officiate at the relocation of Greytown Informal Settlements residents to their new houses in Mvoti Municipality

Years of indignity emanating from living in a squalid unhygienic informal settlement with no water and sanitation are soon to be a thing of the past for the more than 500 residents 

of Lindelani Informal Settlements on the outskirts of Greytown central business district. This coming Tuesday, KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Human Settlements and Public Works Mama 

Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni will be restoring the dignity of dwellers who have been living in this informal settlement as she officiates at the relocation of the first 100 residents to their new homes in the Greytown Slums Clearance Housing Project.

In addition to the relocation of beneficiaries to their new decent homes, MEC Nkonyeni will also hand over 15 title deeds to selected beneficiaries thus confirming their security of tenure.

Members of the media are invited to witness this critical milestone in restoring the dignity of people who were living in slums conditions.
