KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr Willies Mchunu, will on Sunday, 6 March 2011 host the crime fighting initiative at Dumbe. This meeting is aimed at seeking divine intervention in a mission to fight crime in the Province.
This session is subsequent to the Launch of “Operation Hlasela” in the province it plays a critical role in strengthening the Institutionalise BUFAC (Building a United Front Against Crime) which is aimed at being an inclusive movement in maximising all crime prevention initiatives. Stakeholders expected to be part of the event include various religious leaders, house of traditional leaders, South African Police Services (SAPS), members of community, members of the media, Community Police Forum’s (CPF’s) and other stakeholders.
