In a bid to end violent protest that erupted over the taxi fare in KwaDukuza, the KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport Community Safety and Liaison, Willies Mchunu will hold a meeting today, 8 June 2011 with the local taxi association in a bid to calm the taxi unrest in the area.
This comes after aggrieved set alight the house of a police officer in the area. These protest happened after the taxi association in the area increased commuter fare.
