The MEC for Finance, Ms Ina Cronjé, will on Thursday, 18 February 2010, interact and listen to the views of the business sector and residents of Kokstad on what they would like to see in the next year (2010/11) budget allocations.
This is the second pre-budget road-show as the Provincial Treasury is scouting tips for Ina before the budget day, Thursday, 4 March 2010. The aim is to inform the public about the government plans to use budget to be allocated to alleviate poverty in the province. It is also in line with the provincial government’s initiative to encourage public participation in the provincial budget allocations and to promote transparency as well as encouraging the culture of saving.
