KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) MEC for Finance, Ms Ina Cronjé, will on Tuesday, 8 March 2011, deliver the provincial budget speech at the Legislature building in Pietermaritzburg.
She will put emphasis on sound financial management and translate government’s priorities into programmes by addressing critical areas for development, creation of job opportunities and indicating the government’s plan to fight poverty in KZN.
There will be a lock-up session or a technical briefing with the media, where the Provincial Treasury will explain the intricate details of this year’s Budget Vote.
