The people of uMziwabantu Municipality will no longer have to walk long distances to access health facilities as KZN MEC for Finance, Ms Ina Cronjé and MEC for Health Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo will on Friday, 25 February 2011 officially open two clinics in the area that will provide easy access to the health needs of the residents.
The two MEC’s will have an early breakfast meeting with the business people with the aim of soliciting their opinion on the government budget priorities. Site visits after breakfast will be followed by the main community event where the two clinics will be handed-over to the local leadership and the community. The citizenry will also be engaged in a bid to get their opinion and inputs in the 2011/12 provincial budget.
