The MEC for Department of Economic Development and Tourism Mr Mike Mabuyakhulu will address the community of UMkhanyakude District during the community road show which will take place at Jozini sports ground on Saturday, 1 October 2011.
The road show forms part of South Africa's preparations for the Congress of the Parties (COP 17) to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) taking place in Durban from 28 November to 9 December 2011.
The purpose of this community road show is to create awareness about climate change and its impacts; highlight climate change issues facing KwaZulu-Natal; educate, inform and engage communities on ways they can contribute towards efforts to mitigate climate change.
