Youth Agency continues voter registration and education drive in the Western Cape, 23 Jan

Executive Chairperson of the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Mr Sifiso Mtsweni continues the week-long Voter Registration and Education Campaign (VREC) on Wednesday, 23 January 2019 at the Western Cape Province.

The NYDA VREC supports broader efforts by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to encourage and educate young people about the right to vote. Through volunteers of the National Youth Services Programme (NYSP), young people are encouraged to take advantage of the final registration weekend happening on the 26 and 27 January 2019 and take part in the upcoming national general elections.

Session one: Voter Registration and Registration Campaign at Cape Winelands, Drankenstein Municipality

07:00 – 08:00  Mbekweni Location, Paarl

10:15 – Visit to Desmond Tutu High School , Paarl

Session two : Voter Registration and Education at Overberg, Theewaterskloof Municipality
