The Statistician General, Pali Lehohla, will release a report on the Labour Market Dynamics in South Africa on Wednesday April 15.
The year 2014 marks the seventh Labour Market Dynamics Report in South Africa since the inception of the Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS) in 2008. The report provides information on labour market trends over the period 2008–2014, with particular focus on labour market dynamics as provided for by QLFS panel data.
The report will review amongst others, long-term unemployment; youth in the labour force market; the informal sector and Job tenure.
