Special Investigating Unit (SIU) to host a consultative stakeholder engagement forum in Durban
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) will host a consultative Stakeholder Engagement Forum in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal Province on 17 August 2018 in partnership with the Office of the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal.
The theme of the forum will be “Working together towards ridding society of corruption, malpractice and maladministration”.
KwaZulu-Natal Premier Mr Thembinkosi Willies Mchunu will official open the forum while Head of Special Investigating Unit, Advocate Andy Mothibi will speak on the legislative mandate of the SIU.
The Forum is expected to be attended by representatives from the provincial government, members of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature, Mayors, Directors General’s, representatives from various civil society organisations, the business community and Chapter 9 institutions.
