SASSA implements Integrated Community Registration Outreach at KaMdladla community, 10 Nov

South African Social Security Agency [SASSA] in Mpumalanga is focusing on taking its services to the communities that are miles away from offices. The Agency is doing this to minimise the travelling of beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

This will also assist beneficiaries not to utilise social grant money for public transport. These services will be offered during the Integrated Community Registration Outreach [ICROP].

The Agency will implement the ICROP at KaMdladla community which is at the centre of the following villages under Nkomazi municipality; Phiva, KaMhlushwa, Ruth first, Mzinti, Langeloop and Ritchershoek farms. In these villages many people qualifies for social grants but they do not have money to travel to SASSA offices and some do not have access to internet so that they can do their applications online.

The services will be also delivered at Louisville which is surrounded by the following farming areas: Louiscreek, KaGaz, Mashayana and Madubula. The majority of the people in this area are farm workers and do not have sufficient time to visit government departments for any kind of service they need.

All SASSA services and beneficiary education about payment method will be offered. During the event stakeholders such as Banking institutions, SAPS, IEC, SEDA, NDA, Department of Labour, Home Affairs and Health will be also rendering its services.
