SASSA to conduct an awareness social grants drive – Mbombela taxi rank
Mpumalanga South African Social Security Agency will be conducting an awareness social grants drive outreach at Mbombela Taxi rank on 21 May 2021.
The aim of the campaign is to educate, assist clients and beneficiaries about challenges they experience about social grants services. This will include attending to enquiries, requirements for application, and combating fraud and corruption. During the activation community participation through direct interaction with SASSA staff on stage and enquiries desk, as well as outside broadcasting through Mpumalanga community radio stations.
This initiative will contribute towards speedy application process to achieve the one day turn-around time. This will also minimise the long congested queues in local offices.
The Covid 19 regulations as stipulated by the Department of Health and COGTA will be strictly followed and adhered to the latter.
