The Minister of Environmental Affairs, Dr Edna Molewa, will on Sunday, 8 October 2017, hold discussions with the Minister of Environment and Fisheries of the Republic of Chad, Dr Ahmat Mbodou Mahamat, in Pretoria.
The Ministers will discuss, amongst other matters, the proposed translocation of black rhino from South Africa to Chad.
The discussions will be followed with the signing of Memoranda of Understanding between South Africa and Chad in the field of Biodiversity and Conservation and the Reintroduction of black rhino to the Republic of Chad.
