Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries to host Fishery Stakeholder Forum
Newly-appointed Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries, Barbara Creecy will host her first fisheries stakeholder forum, jointly with the Deputy Minister, Ms Maggie Sotyu at V&A Waterfront, on 19 June 2019.
The purpose of the forum is to initiate dialogue and cooperation between the Department of Environment, Fisheries and Forestry and the Fishing Industry and to jointly address government’s key priorities. The forum also seeks to find solutions to the challenges of job creation, economic transformation, growth and development in the industry.
