Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi will tomorrow, (Tuesday: September 22) officially release findings and recommendations of the Letaba Hospital investigation report after consultation with relevant stakeholders in Polokwane.
The Minister of Health Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi appointed a high level Task Team to "investigate allegations of mismanagement, poor service delivery and unacceptable conditions at Letaba Hospital" after receiving reports that a patient died 'due to power failure."
The Minister visited the hospital and received reports of operational mismanagement in Letaba Hospital, as well as poor service delivery and poor quality of care and therefore ordered an investigation.
The Team finalised the investigation and handed the report with findings and recommendations to the minister.
