Tyre manufacturing company injects R2.1 billion into KwaZulu-Natal economy
Sumitomo Rubber South Africa, one of the country’s giant tyre manufacturing companies, will tomorrow (02 October 2018) officially unveil its R2.1 billion expansion at its Ladysmith production plant.
The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mr Sihle Zikalala will be therefore officially opening the company’s world-class bus and truck tyre manufacturing facility.
Mr Zikalala described the expansion as an indication of a growing appetite for local and foreign businesses to invest in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal.
