MEC Sibongiseni Dhlomo briefs Amakhosi on the NHI pilot project progress in Ungungundlovu district
KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Health MEC, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo kindly invites the media to be part of the briefing session where he will be reporting to all the Amakhosi of the UMgungundlovu District on the progress made in the National Health Insurance (NHI) pilot project.
UMgungundlovu is one of the three Districts in KZN selected by National Health Minister, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi to pilot NHI. Others are Amajuba and Umzinyathi Districts.
This briefing will be the first one to take place where the MEC will tabulate all the preparations that have been put in place and also showcase how it impacts in the delivery of quality healthcare for the deep rural communities.
