Under the auspices of Operation Sukuma Sakhe, the MEC for Finance, Ms Belinda Scott, will tomorrow (Friday, 13 June 2014) bring a smile this chilling winter to learners of more than 43 schools in uMgungundovu District by donating school uniforms, jerseys, socks and shoes.
The provincial government came up with this concept of giving back to the underprivileged because it is not every child in local schools that can afford the comfort of shoes and jerseys to be warm in winter.
