KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Arts, Culture, Sport and Recreation, Ntombikayise Sibhidla-Saphetha in conjunction with Ilembe District Municipality will be hosting an HIV and AIDS Summit in Mandeni tomorrow.
The aim of the summit will be to review the work done by the district in fighting the epidemic over the past 5 years. Ilembe is one of the Districts which are hardest hit by the pandemic in the province. As the champion of the Ilembe District Champion under Operation Sukuma Sakhe, the MEC wants all stakeholders in Ilembe to work together to reduce the high prevalence of HIV and AIDS in the District.
The Summit will take place as follows:
