EDTEA MEC Nomusa Dube-Dube to lead KwaMashu business revitalisation programme
As undertaken in her Budget Policy Statement her intentions to revive and ignite the Township Economy, KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Ms Nomusa Dube-Ncube will, this Saturday, preside over KwaMashu Business Revitalisation Programme.
The programme forms part of the Post-Budget Speech Roadshows that MEC Dube-Ncube pledged to embark on.
Like many other townships around the province, KwaMashu is teeming with abandon business spaces, buildings and facilities that could be better used to maximise new businesses.
MEC Dube-Ncube will be accompanied by the Department’s entities and other companies. The entities will workshop, train and advise local business-people, especially women and the youth, on available business opportunities.
