Gauteng Health MEC Qedani Mahlangu will tomorrow participate in a media briefing to elaborate on issues that were outlined by the Premier in his State of the Province Address on Friday, 27 June 2014.
MEC Mahlangu will expatiate on the progress the department has made in the past year to improve the delivery of quality healthcare in the province. She will also share her plans for the current year and the next five years.
The MEC will be accompanied by MECs of Education, Community Safety, Human Settlements, Social Development and SACR who will also be available to share plans and progress from their departments.
Some of the areas the MEC will focus on include: Implementation of the Health Turnaround Strategy, Opening of Natalspruit Hospital and intensifying the existing programmed on HIV/Aids and TB.
