Hluhluwe business sector and communities to give budget tips to KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Finance Ina Cronjé
The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Finance, Ina Cronjé host a business breakfast meeting with an aim of engaging and listening to the views of the business sector of the Big 5 False Bay Municipality in Hluhluwe, on what they would like to see in the next year (2014/2015) budget allocations.
This consultation will culminate in a community meeting at Makhasa Sports Ground, where the Big 5 False Bay Municipality Mayor, Cllr Catherina Gumede will accompany the MEC when interacting with people to get more insight on their needs as the province prepares for the next year budget.
Hluhluwe communities and business sector are encouraged to participate and to give tips to MEC Cronjé at this road-show which is aimed at communicating the planned budget allocations, educate and empower communities so that they can make informed contribution in the shaping of the provincial budget.
This process is also in line with the provincial government’s initiative to encourage public participation in the provincial budget allocations and to promote transparency as well as encouraging the culture of saving.
