The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Finance, Ms Ina Cronjé, in partnership with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) will on Tuesday, 21 May 2013 at 08h00 officially announce her department’s multi-million Rand investment (over a four-year period) toward the Thuthuka Bursary Fund (TBF).
Last year, the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury committed itself towards financially supporting the bursary fund in training students in the field of accounting and finance, many of whom will contribute to the public sector in the province, especially at municipal level.
The Auditor-General, Terence Nombembe, and the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Dr Zweli Mkhize, have been invited to outline the rationale behind the project and provide further details on the investment. All the members of the media are invited to the breakfast.
