KZN MEC for Finance, Mrs Belinda Scott, invites journalists to join her when she celebrates the 100% matric pass for learners at KwaThintwa School for the Deaf tomorrow (06 February 2018).
The school has achieved the seventh successive 100% matric pass despite the learners’ challenges. “We are proud of these learners who work hard and achieve good results. We want to celebrate with them. We want to give them our love and motivate them to achieve even better things in life,” says excited MEC Belinda Scott.
MEC Scott adopted this school three years ago. She has become a regular visitor to donate furniture books and food packs. Last year she came to celebrate the sixth 100% pass rate that the school had achieved.
MEC Scott also promised the class of 2017 matriculants to celebrate with them this year if they were able to achieve the 100% pass.
