KwaZulu-Natal Financial Literacy Association (KZNFLA) will on Tuesday, 23 June 2015, at 8h00, host uMkhanyakude 2015 Financial Education Summit at Hluhluwe Agricultural Hall.
It is a known fact that many small business do not survive because of poor financial management and lack of compliance. The 2015 Financial Education Summit seeks to include entrepreneurs of the uMkhanyakude District targeting taverns owners, small construction companies and informal traders including crafters.
The KZN Provincial Treasury Head, Mr Simiso Magagula, will release the uMkhanyakude Financial Literacy Household Survey at the summit. This KZNFLA survey is a first in KwaZulu-Natal’s history and is in a partnership between Provincial Treasury’s macro-analysis unit, the Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Leaders and the Durban University of Technology.
