KwaZulu-Natal Premier Senzo Mchunu invites members of the media to the Unveiling of Tombstones and Wall of Remembrance for the victims of Shobashobane Massacre.
“Tomorrow we will commemorate the lives of 19 people who were brutally killed on the 25thDecember 1995 in what became known as Shobashobane Massacre. Many people were also injured in the shooting.”
“I want to salute the community of Shobashobane for their commitment towards peace and reconciliation. They have said the time for political violence is over and never again should the brothers and sisters go to war against each other.”
