KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Finance, Ms Ina Cronjé, in partnership with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), will engage youth at Esikhawini FET College on financial issues during the National Financial Literacy Youth Day on Friday (7 June 2013).
The National Youth Financial Literacy Day is a JSE initiative that was launched in Durban last year to give youth a head-start into their financial future. The initiative educates young people about money, savings and investment.
MEC Cronjé will address the youth under the theme: "Empowering South African Youth to Establish and Maintain Healthy Financial Habits". The event is a partnership between the JSE and the KZN Financial Literacy Association (of which MEC Cronjé is a champion).
