The MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) Nomusa Dube-Ncube together with the Mayor of eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality Cllr James Nxumalo will tomorrow be taking part in a series of clean-up operations to commemorate Mandela Day.
The activities in which they will participate include the launching of a radical programme aimed at combating social ills that have plagued Durban’s inner city, particularly centred around the infamous ‘Whoonga Park’. This is a priority for eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality.
