SA Agulhas II returns from Gough Island
The Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) will once again welcome back the SA Agulhas II as she returns from her annual voyage from Gough Island on Thursday, 9 October 2014 at the East Pier Shed, Cape Town.
Aboard the vessel will be the Gough 59 expedition team, DEA’s supporting team, members from the National Department of Public Works, Starlite Aviation, and the Scientists who left for Gough Island last year on 6 September 2014 and have spent 14 months at the base conducting critical research.
