The Deputy Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Obed Bapela invites media to the Department of Traditional Affairs (DTA) cultural day celebration which will be held as follows:

Venue: Lesedi Cultural Village (Broederstroom).
The department is responsible for traditional affairs issues regarding leadership, governance, culture, spirituality and heritage. Amongst other things, it provides support to the institution of traditional leadership through the National House of Traditional Leaders, promotes and protects the rights of the cultural, religious and linguistic communities through the commission, and also restores the dignity of traditional leaders.
The department intends to host a number of different cultures activities as well as cooking traditional food on this day.
