The best performing mayor in the province of KwaZulu-Natal has been crowned. The annual KwaZulu-Natal Municipal Excellence Awards, which took place on 31 October, once again showed that the province is on the way to becoming a hub of excellence, in the area of good financial governance.
This ceremony which was presided over by MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, recognised municipalities, that have excelled in the area of service delivery. The winner during the ceremony were the following municipalities.
