'Together we push back the frontiers of Poverty'
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries General Bheki Cele cordially invites you to the launch of the Food and Nutrition Security Imbizo where he will be handing over food parcels to 20 vulnerable households and establishing food gardens in Diepsloot, Gauteng on Tuesday, 2 December 2014.
The 20 households are in line with the context of 20 years of democracy and more food parcels will be distributed in the area with the assistance of the database from the Department of Social Development.
In emulating the theme: “Together we move South Africa forward” the food security marathon will extend to KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape provinces next week, to ensure that the priorities of the department are supported and fulfilled.
