Telecommunications Amendment Act 12 of 1997

The Telecommunications Amendment Act 12 of 1997 intends:

• to amend the Telecommunications Act, 1996, so as to provide for the selection and transfer of personnel from the Department of Communications to the South African Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the Universal Service Agency; and
• to provide for matters connected therewith.

Commencement

25 April 1997
