The repealed Subdivision of Agricultural Land Amendment Act 12 of 1979 intended:
- to amend the Subdivision of Agricultural Land Act, 1970 [repealed in 1998], so as
- to further regulate control regarding the sale or grant of rights in respect of a portion of agricultural land, and to provide for matters connected therewith; and
- to validate the establishment and enlargement of the areas of jurisdiction of certain authorities.
