The repealed Small Business Development Act 112 of 1981 intended:
- to provide for the passing of the assets, rights, liabilities and obligations of the Development and Finance Corporation, Limited, and of the Indian Industrial Development Corporation, Limited, to the Small Business Development Corporation, Limited;
- to repeal certain laws; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
