The Sea Fishery Act 12 of 1988 intends:
- to provide for the conservation of the marine ecology and the or derly exploitation, utilization and protection of certain marine resources;
- for that purpose to provide for the exercise of control over sea fishery; and
- to provide for matters connected therewith.
