The Pension Laws Amendment Act 84 of 1964 intends:
- to amend
- the War Pensions Act, 1942 [repealed in 1979],
- the Parliamentary Service and Administrators' Pensions Act, 1951 [repealed in 1965],
- the Government Service Pensions Act, 1955 [repealed in 1966],
- the Pension Laws Amendment Act, 1956,
- the War Special Pensions Act, 1962 [repealed in 1975],
- the Old Age Pensions Act, 1962 [repealed in 1968],
- the Blind Persons Act, 1962,
- the War Veterans' Pensions Act, 1962 [repealed in 1968],
- the Disability Grants Act, 1962 [repealed in 1968],
- the Associated Institutions Pension Fund Act, 1963, and
- the Parliamentary Service Pensions Amendment Act, 1963 [repealed in 1965];
- to prescribe the date on which any person shall be deemed to attain the prescribed age for retirement in certain circumstances; and
- to provide for other incidental matters.
