Commonages (Cape of Good Hope) Act 17 of 1919

The Commonages (Cape of Good Hope) Act 17 of 1919 intends to provide:

• for the assignment of commonages in the province of the Cape of Good Hope to agricultural settlements or immigrant locations and to certain local authorities;
• for the sub-division of such commonages;
• for the conditions of the allocation of any such sub-division; and
• for the the conditions of alienation by such local authorities of land assigned to them as commonages.
