The Civil Aviation Offences Amendment Act 63 of 1978 intends:
- to amend the Civil Aviation Offences Act, 1972 [repealed in 2010], in order to extend the scope of existing offences;
- to provide for measures directed at the more effective control of the security of aircraft, airports and the like; and
- to provide for incidental matters.
