On Tuesday, Western Cape MEC of Economic Development, Alan Winde, and University of the Western Cape Rector, Professor Brian O'Connell, will sign a groundbreaking new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
This win-win MOU will see the Western Cape Government provide bursaries to ten economics masters students per year who agree to write their theses on issues pertinent to the province's economy and specific industrial sectors.
The theses will be used to inform future policies of the Western Cape Government.
