President Jacob Zuma has expressed his deepest condolences on the sad passing of veteran actor Mr Shadrack Ngema, who was much loved for his skilful performance in the SABC 1 drama Emzini Wezinsizwa where he played the part of a traditional healer, Magubane.
A few weeks ago, his colleague Roland Mqwebu who starred as Mkhize in the drama also passed away.
"South Africa has lost a familiar voice and face in the arts industry. He was a very talented and popular actor and comedian who brought laughter and joy to our people. He will be sorely missed. We wish to convey our deepest condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace," said President Zuma.
