DWS steps up the rollout of stakeholder’s engagement to refine water quality imperatives
The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) is accelerating its stakeholder engagements rollout programme to refine the water quality policies and strategies.
DWS embarked on this initiative aimed at revising its current WQM Policies including developing Integrated WQM Strategies to respond to the needs of the country’s improved combined approach to Water Quality Management (WQM).
The department will conduct nine provincial stakeholder workshops during the months of October and November 2016, to discuss the draft WQM Policy and Strategy for South Africa and its implications for implementation.
