Provincial Planning Commission hosts a colloquium on Provincial Development Plan
Bokone Bophirima Premier Supra Mahumapelo is to lead the Colloquium that is intended to complete the drafting of the Provincial Development Plan (PDP) which will incorporate the vision, philosophies and policies of the 5th Administration.
This is to conclude the task undertaken by the Provincial Planning Commission in collaboration with provincial departments, municipalities, the private sector and major stakeholders, of drafting the Provincial Development Plan (PDP) in the past few months. The PDP is the provincial version of the National Development Plan that is being implemented through five concretes.
Institutions that will attend, amongst others includes, SETAs, Eskom, Institutions of Higher Learning, Chamber of Commerce, Organised Labour and House of Traditional Leaders.
During the colloquium, inputs from top structures of all the stakeholders will be received to improve the quality of the draft PDP which would be tabled before EXCO for approval.
