Progress Report meeting on repair and upgrading of Waste Water Treament Works

The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) will on Thursday, 1 September 2016, host a meeting to give a progress report on the repair and upgrading of the country’s non-functioning Waste Water Treatment Works (WWTW).

In January this year, DWS announced that it had set aside R300 million to repair/refurbish these malfunctioning works which negatively affect the department’s efforts regarding service delivery.
