Invitation to the pre-seminar media networking session with Unemployment Insurance Fund
The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) – an entity of the Department of Labour -cordially invites members of the media in Gauteng Province to the Pre- Seminar Media Networking Session on Thursday 25th October 2018 at the Cedar Woods of Sandton in Johannesburg.
The purpose of the session is to engage and appraise the media on various.
Programmes of the UIF, as well as strengthen relations between the media and the Fund. The session will include the importance of compliance with the Unemployment Insurance Act, Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act and Labour Activation Programmes.

On the same day the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) will be hosting the UIF Seminar at the same venue from 10:00 – 14:00.
The seminar seeks, among others to encourage employers to comply with the UI Act by emphasizing the need to register and declare contributions to the Fund every month.
