Transport Minister and Eastern Cape Premier brief media on N2 Wild Coast Project and infrastructure development

Members of the media are invited to join the Minister of Transport, Mr. Joe Maswanganyi, MP, together with the Premier of the Eastern Cape Province, Honourable, Phumulo Masualle, MPL for a briefing following a consultative working meeting the two principals will have tomorrow, Thursday, 17 August 2017.
 
Among other key focus areas, the two principals will deliberate on developments regarding the N2 Wild Coast project and transport and infrastructure development in the province.
The N2 Wild Coast project forms part of the Strategic Infrastructure Projects 2 (SIP2) overseen by the Presidential Infrastructure Coordinating Commission (PICC).
 
At completion, this project will cut and reduce travel time between East London and Durban by two hours linking the two provinces with much ease, boost tourism and will reduce the cost of doing business.
 
The development of the N2 Wild Coast project will also see the building of two of the biggest and highest bridges in the continent whilst creating much needed long and short-term jobs in the country.
Following the consultative engagement, the Minister and Premier will brief members of the media on the outcome of the deliberations and plan of action.
