Notification of cancelation
Members of the media are hereby requested to note that the Department of Transport media briefing that was scheduled for today, Wednesday, 17 May 2023 at the GCIS Imbizo Media Centre in Cape Town has been canceled.
The department wishes to apologise sincerely for any possible inconvenience caused by this change in its itinerary.
The media briefing will instead be replaced by the post Budget Vote Stakeholder and Media Panel Discussion Breakfast which will take place as follows:

This panel discussion breakfast will give transport stakeholders and members of the media the opportunity to deep dive into and unpack key transport issues following the Budget tabling.
