The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) will host a business forum under the theme Cooperation for Common Development - Catapulting the African Industrialisation as part of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). The business forum will be addressed by the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Mzwandile Masina and his Chinese counterpart:

The business forum will provide the basis for mutual benefit and cooperation between China and Africa, based on the principles of South- South cooperation. This is also an opportunity to further stimulate growth and unlock new opportunities between China and Africa on trade and investment opportunities.
Only FOCAC accredited media will be allowed to attend the business forum.
