Thirty six EMRS staff members have upgraded the skills and knowledge by successfully completing an Ambulance Emergency Assistant course. The 36 EMRS staff members have been practising as Basic Ambulance Assistants but through their hard work will now be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as Intermediate Life Support providers.
Through their newly acquired skills and knowledge, the officials will contribute towards the delivery of emergency medical services to our communities.
The North West EMRS College will host certification and awards ceremony for the Intermediate Life Support providers as follows:
